A3K Community Event
Our Story

A Movement Born from Passion and Purpose

A3K The Healthy Way began with a simple yet powerful vision: to create a community where every child has the opportunity to live a healthy, active life. In a world where childhood obesity rates continue to rise, we knew something had to change. That's why we intentionally shine an even brighter light on this mission each September—recognized as Childhood Obesity Awareness Month—by encouraging families and communities to take action, learn together, and commit to healthier habits.

What started as a small group of Zumba enthusiasts and health advocates has grown into a movement that touches thousands of lives each year. Our annual A3K Walk brings together families, businesses, and community leaders united by a common goal—to fight childhood obesity through awareness, education, and action.

We believe that healthy habits start at home but are reinforced by community. That's why we focus not just on one-day events, but on building lasting connections and providing resources that families can use year-round.

"Every step we take together is a step toward a healthier future for our children."

Through partnerships with local schools, healthcare providers, and businesses, we're creating a network of support that extends far beyond our annual walk. We're changing lives, one family at a time.
